Transworld continues to back its list of 30 most influential skaters of all time with a new video profile dedicated to the 20th-ranked. After Tom Penny, another legend of the early 90’s: Ed Templeton.

For about ten years Templeton has been an icon of style and not on the table, not to mention its contribution to industry with Toy Machine, Emerica and more. Then with thereset of the early 2000’s has dropped a bit ’hit to devote himself more to photographyand art, but also left its mark here.

Even in this case, the video feature is divided into two parts, with many images andvideo material from the archives. Above the first, below the second part of the interview. enjoy.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of New York City’s most honored and anticipated events of the American holiday season. If you’ve slept through it in the past years, you might want to stay awake for it this year, as artist KAWS has been tasked with creating a float for the parade. Fresh off the launch of his“The Nature of Need” exhibition in Hong Kong as well as his sit down interview with Hypebeast, KAWS plans to use his signature Companion character with hands tightly clasped over his eyes as the float that will rise high above the street as a balloon. KAWS follows in the steps of other artists in the past such as Tom Otterness, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, and even Tim Burton.

“I went to the city of Manama in Bahrain to make a mural as part of the Alwan 338 festival put together by the Al Riwaq Art Space. Knowing the current situation there, I was a little apprehensive but a good friend working with the gallery explained the special nature of what the Al Riwaq Art Space was doing. I met some truly extraordinary people who believe in the role of contemporary art in their country’s future. Against all odds they strive to change the barren artistic landscape that exists in Bahrain today. There are so many layers to Bahrain. There is a huge class division, exotic cars, colossal images of the king everywhere, boundless hospitality, arrests, the smell of tear gas every weekend, road blocks, women who can drive and are free to dress as they wish, a graffiti war between dissidents and the police, an American naval base since 1947, Fuddruckers, Sizzlers, a clamp down on dissident areas, the legal sale of alcoholic beverages, a rich cultural history… It is easy to resort to the didactic or aesthetically pleasing image, but it is much more difficult to create poetic and emotionaly charged art that can reach you at different levels. I decided to create a mural of Yousif, a traditional Bahraini fisherman, one of a few hundred that are left.” Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada

Based out of Atlanta Georgia Blkkmorris releases the first EP from Cobra Crop’s very own RONNIE P aka R_________P titled: Zodiac. The EP is great, It has a very relaxing pace and picks up in certain parts but the intensity isn’t overwhelming. from the R&B breaks to the a capella solo’s sampled it’s relaxing and almost meditative. The design is quintessentially Vans, never straying too far from its timeless aesthetic which has made it a popular choice among more than just skaters. A signature vulcanized sole is paired with virtually monotone uppers aside from black reflective tongues. Every Time I die’s sixth coming album will be in stores tomorrow and I can guarantee it will not disappoint. It has everything you’ve come to love about this band it’s high energy, gut wrenching guitar riffs, sporadically placed melodies and that brutal yell that no one beside Keith Buckley can deliver. The album I will say is a little different than what was expected, considering all we’ve had to hear from the new album thus far was “underwater bimbos from outerspace” a fast pace and extremely gloom filled metalcore track. The repeated chant is, “I want to be dead with my friends” showing their roots but still keeping refined.

The band is currently headlining a US tour alongside Terror, Stray From the Path, and Former Thieves and will be playing in Pamona, CA at the Glasshouse on March 16, 2012

a 29’ “amphibious vehicle” with two separate engines. A 300hp off land engine and a whopping 40hp (5mph) tread turner hopefully on land you won’t be in any hurry because it’s not going to get you there in a timely manor. (might want to call a cab) This bad boy seats 10 or 6 comfortably and reaches top speeds of 40 mph. If you’ve got the cash to waste and want to impress your snobby friends by all means BUY A REAL YACHT. Maybe one day iguana will come up with a design that is as innovative but also performs. Until then keep dreaming.

Check out the works done by Retna for ‘Excavated Relations’, interesting exhibition of theSeventh Letter Crew just opened at the Known Gallery in Los Angeles.

As you can see the well-known artist losangelino brought his iconic calligraphic style of a new type of technical support and through a little ’different from the usual pieces of wood inlaid. Special features of the thing, all the pieces of wood are from a search ”on going”on abandoned homes in Southern California that the various components of the Seventh Letter Crew are pursuing for some time.Check out the beautiful pictures here soto.

Patrick Wallner’s latest skate documentary, Holy Cow, is now available for your viewing pleasure by way of the filmmaker’s Visual Traveling series. This time around Wallner and his band of audacious skaters travel through chaotic South Asia, from Bangladesh to Sri Lanka, thrashing it up and observing the unique cultures, from “dying ones hair henna, riding rickshaws, or curry-overdosing.” This ten minute short summarizes a month long journey and features riders Walker Ryan, Laurence Keefe, Michael Mackrodt and Kenny Reed.

The creative agency ANTILOP presents a short video recap of the striking installation created last December to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Coca-Cola at the gallery santralistanbul of Istanbul.

“For Coca-Cola’s 125th Anniversary Exhibition Future’s Room

concept, Galeri’s 1 santralistanbul ANTILOP Transformed into an immersive

environment by creating 90 square meters of 270-degree projection system.”

The result is an innovative audio-video installation featuring a 270-degree projection system that reproduces graphics and animations that trace the history of the iconic brand, in a black room of 90 sqm. Take a look.
